This is an original exhibition poster for a solo show by the renowned French-American artist Arman (1928–2005), one of the founding members of Nouveau Réalisme.
The image features multiple upside-down Leningrad gouache paint tubes, each releasing long, flowing streams of thick red paint.
Arman became famous for these types of accumulations and object-based works, often using tools, instruments, and artist materials like paint tubes.
The piece is an offset lithograph, typical for gallery exhibition posters produced in the 1970s. These were printed in relatively small quantities for gallery visitors and promotional use.
