Wim Strijbosch (1928-1968) was a prominent Dutch artist and graphic designer, renowned for his innovative and expressive approach to form and color. Strongly influenced by abstract art, he was a member of the Creatie group, which rejected visible reality as a source of inspiration. Strijbosch was known for his graphic designs and received numerous accolades for his work in the advertising world, including the 1955 Advertising Year Award. His graphic work, including posters and catalogs for various institutions and exhibitions, reflects his masterful command of line, form, and color.

A particularly rare and unique piece by Strijbosch is the poster "Kleur" from 1958. This poster was designed for an exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, dedicated to the application of color. The poster is a perfect example of Strijbosch's ability to harness the emotional power of color in his designs. Now available for purchase on our art website, this piece offers a unique opportunity to own a piece of art history. The "Kleur" poster is not only a visual spectacle but also a tangible testament to Strijbosch's contribution to modern art and his influence on exhibition design in the Netherlands.
