A graduate of the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts and a former head of the poster design studio at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts (1995–2001), Waldemar Świerzy was also a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI). His works are featured in esteemed collections worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Over his distinguished career, Świerzy received numerous accolades, such as the Grand Prix Tolouse-Lautrec in Paris and first prize at the São Paulo Biennial.
